Is it really only $10?
Yes, for the initial offer. You pay only if your idea is selected, you try the version that gets built, and you want to keep using it. There is no upfront payment.
Why is it so inexpensive?
Because this is not a custom software project for hire. BuildThisFor.me selects which requests to build, keeps ownership of the resulting app, and may offer it to other people later.
How does the 20% Creator Reward work?
Selected ideas can qualify. Once an eligible app reaches $100 in cumulative net App Store receipts—the amount received after Apple’s commission, taxes, refunds, and similar adjustments—the reward is 20% of later net receipts. Submitting an idea or paying $10 does not automatically qualify, and no purchase is required. If invited, you’ll receive separate terms before development begins.
Does my idea need to help other people?
No. An idea that only makes sense to you is completely fine. That may be exactly why existing apps do not fit what you need.
How will I try the app?
Usually through TestFlight, Apple’s free app for trying iPhone apps before they reach the App Store. If your request is selected, you’ll receive a link and simple instructions—you do not need to know TestFlight beforehand.
Will you build every request?
No. Requests are selected based on whether the idea is clear, a useful first version can be built, and there is time to take it on.
