Terms of submission

BuildThisFor.me is a one-person iOS app studio run by Max. These terms explain what happens when you send a request. They are not a promise that your app will be built.
1. A submission is not a development contract
Sending a request does not hire Max or BuildThisFor.me, create a client relationship, or require either side to continue. There is no fee merely to submit and no guarantee that a request will be accepted, built, or delivered by any particular date.
2. How requests are selected
BuildThisFor.me may accept, reject, pause, change, or stop work on a request at its discretion. The 3–5 day timeframe is a target for a first working version of an accepted request, not a contractual deadline. Feedback is welcome, but features and changes are not guaranteed.
3. Product ownership
If an application is created from or inspired by a submission, BuildThisFor.me or its operator owns the resulting application, source code, brand, design, and product intellectual property. BuildThisFor.me may publish it, improve it, change it, stop supporting it, or sell access to other people.
You keep ownership of materials and data you already owned. You grant BuildThisFor.me permission to use the information in your submission to evaluate the idea and design, build, operate, and market a resulting product.
4. Your responsibility
Only submit information you have the right to share. Do not send trade secrets, employer-confidential material, private customer data, copyrighted content you do not control, or information protected by a duty of confidentiality. Illegal, harmful, infringing, or high-risk requests may be rejected.
5. Testing and price
If a request is accepted, testing will normally happen through Apple TestFlight, Apple’s free app for trying iPhone apps before release. You will receive a link and instructions. Any $10 founding-user price applies only to the specific version and offer made to you. Future major versions, upgrades, or optional services may be priced separately.
6. Creator Reward
BuildThisFor.me may invite a selected submitter to participate in a Creator Reward. Submitting an idea, having it selected or built, testing an app, or paying $10 does not automatically create any right to payment or revenue share. No purchase is required to be considered.
A Creator Reward exists only after BuildThisFor.me accepts the idea in writing and both sides agree to separate Creator Reward terms before development begins. Until then, no reward, partnership, employment, investment, or ownership interest is created.
The currently advertised reward for a qualifying app is 20% of net App Store receipts earned after the app reaches $100 in cumulative net App Store receipts. Net receipts means amounts actually received after Apple’s commission, applicable taxes, refunds, chargebacks, currency conversion, and similar adjustments. The separate terms will define eligibility, calculation, reporting, payment timing, duration, and termination, and will control if they differ from this summary.
7. Availability
No app is guaranteed to remain available or compatible with every future iOS version forever. Distribution may be subject to Apple’s rules and the terms presented with the app.
